JULY 4, 2020
The 2020 MidAtlantic Cup is a newly added event to the tournament calendar that saw a great kick off last year during 2019! As the largest open boundary tournament on the east coast with weigh stations from Manasquan Inlet to Virginia Beach, this tournament is the next MUST DO events on the offshore fishing calendar for 2020!
The first annual MidAtlantic Cup saw participants hailing from all ports in 2019. With the virtually untapped early season Blue Marlin bite, being productive as anticipated along the Mid-Atlantic Bight, the tournament will be right on time for more participants and an even larger purse in 2020! Also being included in this year’s tournament is the addition of an optional $3000 Calcutta! Now there will be an added purse on top of the winner take all prize for the heaviest qualifying Blue Marlin!
This is your chance to compete with marlin anglers across the region. From Sandy Hook, NJ to Virginia Beach, VA all are welcome to join in on the action. This event allows participants to depart at any time and from any inlet they choose and run as far as they want. Fishing beings at 8:30AM and ends at 4:30PM on July 4th. This one day tournament has only one place to fill… First. A winner take all, best of the best event that surely is going to take bragging rights to the next level.
If you’re looking to compete on an additional level, MidAtlantic Cup also coincides with the Blue Marlin World Cup for a chance to not just be the best in the region, but the best in the WORLD! So who exactly has the best Blue Marlin fishing action in the MidAtlantic region? Only time will tell on July 4th 2019 during the MidAtlantic Cup!
